Enrol to Vote

Enrolling to vote lets you participate fully in our democracy, and gives you an important role in helping to decide the future of our nation.

All Australian citizens aged 18 years or over are required by law to enrol to vote and to keep their enrolment details up to date.  You can also enrol if you are 16 or 17 years of age, to make sure that you are eligible to vote from the day that you turn 18.

You can check whether you are enrolled and whether your enrolment details are up to date here https://check.aec.gov.au/.

You can enrol to vote for the first time here http://www.aec.gov.au/enrol/.

If you have just moved to Fisher, you can update your address details here http://www.aec.gov.au/enrol/change-address.htm.

If you have any questions about enrolling to vote, you can contact the Australian Electoral Commission on 1800 572 113, or feel free to contact my office on 07 5493 5556.
