2019-20 Volunteers Grants - APPLY HERE
The Government will deliver $10 million in 2019-20 under the Volunteers Grants programme, with a total of up to $66,000 available for projects within our electorate of Fisher.
When you have filled in the PDF form, please save the form to your computer and email it to me at the email address below.
Eligible community organisations will be able to apply for funding from $1,000 - $5,000 which may be used to:
- purchase eligible small equipment items for use by volunteers;
- contribute to volunteers’ fuel costs;
- contribute to transport costs for volunteers with disability who are unable to drive;
- assist with the costs of training courses for volunteers; or
- undertake background screening checks for volunteers.
For your project to be considered for funding, you must complete the Expression of Interest Form, save it to your computer and then email it to my office at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5pm AEST Friday 14 February 2020.
Projects that best utilise the funds will be selected and invited to make a formal application with the Department. All applicants that submit an expression of interest will be notified of whether their project was selected by the end of February.
In previous rounds, successful projects have included the purchase of a computer for the Maleny District Girl Guides Support Group, funding of First Aid training for volunteers at the Glasshouse Country Festival and the instillation of a defibrillator for the Caloundra Rugby Union Club, to list a few.
I look forward to seeing how you make the most of this opportunity.
